This one of my more recent projects. It's been a labor of love and still needs a lot of work. I deconstructed this Illustrator piece and used the pieces to make the minimal landscape.

Other various vector objects are placed in the background. The fight sequence is rotoscoped in After Effects using vector paint. A key matte is then applied, in addition to a threshold and finally a color swap to match the palette of the project. The 3d camera is also being used to pan.

Still need to add the solders, helicopters, tanks, guns, and tons of other stuff. I'll let you know when it's done ;)
