The Heart Robot is a kind of creepy Tim Burton-esque puppet/robot experiment created by a team of Bristol UK researchers and artists in order to investigate the effects that a seemingly emotional machine can have on humans. I have a strange feeling it will somehow be responsible for the start of the zombie apocolypse. Radiohead's new video House of Cards is a super cool video created using no lights or cameras. You can read about the process, involving arrays of lasers and "structured light" scanning systems, and watch a video all right here. The other really cool thing about the video is you can go to google's code area and play with the 3D models in real-time while the video plays.
